Today, Digital Asset is proud to release a white paper on our architecture, detailing the rationale for the technological decisions that we have made. This is intended to provide a business audience with an overview of the DA Platform, and is the output of our work developing production ready systems for highly regulated financial institutions to meet their specific requirements.
The Digital Asset Platform uses Distributed Ledger Technology to allow the mutualization of financial market data and processes across distinct market participants. It does this while maintaining confidentiality and scalability, both critical for regulated markets, and reveals more detail on DAML, the Digital Asset Modeling Language.
The DA Platform eliminates discrepancies between disparate but duplicative siloed data records, reducing the current errors, latency, risk, cost and capital requirements involved in processing financial transactions.
